27.08.08 Promoting positve mental health and wellbeing - NHS Fife event open to members of the public and frontline workers.
   
12.08.08 The HandsOnScotland Toolkit Post-Launch Evaluation Report has been completed. The study involved over 60 frontline workers. Overall, the feedback was positive - workers' confidence increased and they reported feeling more supported in their work.

This is a website about low mood and depression in young adults, and was launched in June as part of Scottish National Depression Week 2008.
   
02.07.08 Two new booklets have been released by SIGN (Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network) on autism spectrum disorders. One booklet is for parents and carers, and the other is for young people.
   
16.06.08 In October 2008, Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Education (HMIe) – Services for Children Unit will
lead a specialist team of Inspectors to look at how good our child protection services are in Fife.
   
06.06.08 Consultation on the discussion document 'Towards a Mentally Flourishing Scotland: The Future of Mental Health Improvement in Scotland 2008-11' has recently finished. A summary report of the findings has now been published.

This conference has been organised by the West of Scotland Child Protection Network in association with the British Association for the Study and Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (BASPCAN).

Vulnerable children in Fife are to benefit from a new electronic system which provides instant communication between agencies.

This conference is promoted by Fife Children’s Loss and Bereavement Forum and will provide an update on new practice and research in supporting bereaved children and families.
