Are you interested in research involving children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing?

Do you have an idea for an enquiry, but don’t know how to get started?

Would you like to find out more about research in children and young people’s mental health that is already happening in Fife?

Then come and join us at the Playfield Institute Research Open Day!

 

Program of the day:

 

Morning session, 9am-1.30pm - Registration is required for this session as places are limited.

 

9.00am - Registration and coffee

9.45am - Institute presentation: What is wellbeing and how can we study it?

10.30am - coffee break

10.45am - Workshop Session 1: One of four workshops:

• How do I answer my question? Getting started with your research idea

• How do I find out what's already been done?

• Evaluations - How do I know that what I'm doing is working?

• Making a difference - how to translate your research findings into practice

11.30am - coffee break

11.45am - Workshop Session 2

12.30pm - Lunch (cold buffet)

 

Afternoon session, 1.30-4.30pm - everyone welcome to drop-in at any time during this session.

• Poster session (+ description) and networking.
