This is an introduction to Art Therapy techniques and how art can be used to create positive development in children and young people.
Through taking part in art activities, participants will be exploring some of the processes involved in art therapy. You will learn techniques that you can use with children that are fun and will promote their confidence and will help their development in a positive way.
Creativity is a way of expressing ourselves. When supporting young children to express their emotions we can help them to build better relationships and flourish.
You do not need to be good at drawing to take part in the experience, so do not worry about your ability in that respect. It will be a fun workshop with lots of involvement in art making and time for discussion.
